For non-USPS shipments (e.g. FedEx or UPS), you are only billed for shipments that ship on Mochila's accounts. Shipments that use your accounts or on a third party's account are not included on Mochila's invoice.
On the monthly invoice for shipping charges, you will find two columns: one named "ShipFee" and one named "ShipCost."
ShipFee represents the shipping fees on Mochila's invoice. For USPS shipments and shipments using an account other than Mochila's, you will find no ShipFee associated with that shipment.
ShipCost represents the estimated ship cost for the shipment (when available), regardless of the carrier account used. For USPS shipments, this should be a highly accurate estimate of the actual costs incurred because the postage must be purchased in advance.
For other carriers like FedEx and UPS, ShipCost can be used where the shipment was processed using Mochila's account.
When the account used was not Mochila's, ShipCost is a fairly good estimate of the cost but actual costs - which can include accessorial charges like fuel surcharges, rural delivery surcharges, etc. - will vary from the estimate. To obtain a true cost estimate, it is important to update the estimated cost with the invoiced cost. In addition, you may want to distinguish between charges of your accounts versus charges billed to a third party account.
