Shopify App Integration and How it Works

If you are using Mochila’s Shopify App to integrate your Shopify store with Mochila, here are some important things to remember:

1. Once a Barcode Value is added to a Shopify Variant, it CANNOT change. Changing the Barcode Value WILL result in the wrong items being shipped, AND/OR orders not importing into Mochila.
2. Once an item is set up with a Barcode Variant, that item is automatically created in the Mochila system.
3. Shopify does not have knowledge of composite relationships in Mochila.  You will still need to set up a Composite relationship using our item set up form for CASEs, BUNDLEs, and SETs.
4. BUNDLEs and SETs are not supported by our Shopify app. The use of these may cause fulfillment issues as well as inventory updating issues.
5. Any changes made to a Shopify Variant will update automatically in the Mochila System.
6. All Barcode Values in Shopify MUST be unique.  Repeating a Barcode WILL result in the wrong items being shipped, AND/OR orders not importing into Mochila.

All composite relationships and Variant ID information can be reviewed by visiting the Client Portal and searching the Item Types and Composite Types links.
